my christmas present to myself was no mile repeats.
instead, i went out for a run in the park.
sunny blue skies.
fifty degrees.
no wind. no rain.
the run was effortless
fast
blissful
they don't get much better.
love the high as a kite runs.

I had intended to go on a 6.55 mile run today (to make my month-to-date total an even 130 miles), but since we were heading to friends for brunch we only did 3.55. Now that it's snowing (or should I say "slushing"), I think cozying up on the couch with Harry Potter is a better activity!

BTW, wanted to tell you, you don't have to skip 9 on the 9th. You can just give us 9 of your marathon miles. We are pretty lenient around here. I know you will have bigger things on your mind, so if you don't, no biggie, just thought you might want to peak at the watch at nine and send me a time.
